Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools | Kettering Area

We are currently recruiting confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of secondary schools in and around Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, or individuals with strong behaviour management skills looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Ensure students remain engaged and on task
• Provide a positive and supportive learning environment
• Report back to teaching staff following lessons

No planning or marking is required.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience working with young people aged 11-16
• Are confident leading a classroom
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Are flexible, reliable, and proactive
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply for one

Previous school experience is desirable but not essential.
