Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire | Full-Time | September 2026 Start | Permanent Preferred

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Daventry that is seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator who is passionate about helping children develop the skills, confidence, and enthusiasm needed for lifelong learning.

The school is ideally looking to appoint on a permanent basis, although long-term opportunities may also be considered for the right candidate.

Role Highlights:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support pupils in developing strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils and encourage individual progress
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil achievement, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence, resilience, and confidence
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupil development and wellbeing
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, events, and initiatives

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 in a UK primary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective classroom practice
  • A caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
  • Committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply and will receive full support and mentoring
