We are working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Daventry that is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher to join their team on a part-time maternity cover contract from September 2026. Role Highlights:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum

  • Take responsibility for planning, teaching, and assessing within your allocated class

  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear feedback to support achievement

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement, and classroom organisation

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support pupil outcomes

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting (KS1 or KS2 desirable)

  • Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum

  • A flexible, reflective, and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills

  • Committed to providing high-quality education and supporting every child to succeed

  • ECTs are welcome to apply, depending on experience and suitability for the role
