Graphics Teacher Required | Wellingborough
September 2026 Start | Full-Time Position | Permanent Preferred (Long-Term Supply or Fixed-Term Considered)

Are you a creative and motivated Graphics teacher with a passion for design, visual communication, and developing young creative talent?

We are working with a forward-thinking and supportive secondary school in Wellingborough that is looking to appoint a skilled Graphics teacher to join their Design Technology department from September 2026.

Whether your background is in Graphic Communication, Digital Design, Illustration, Typography, Branding, or a blend of creative disciplines, this is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and help them build confidence and capability in design-based learning.

Your Role

  • Delivering engaging and imaginative Graphics lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Supporting students in developing strong visual communication and design skills
  • Teaching both digital software and traditional design techniques
  • Guiding students through creative, structured design projects from concept to final outcome
  • Creating a positive, well-organised and inspiring classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced Design Technology team
  • Encouraging experimentation, creativity, and independent thinking in all learners

We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Graphics or a related subject in UK secondary schools
  • Confidence using industry-standard design software and creative processes
  • Strong behaviour management, organisation, and communication skills
  • A genuine enthusiasm for design and creative education
  • A commitment to supporting student progress and achievement
