This is an exciting opportunity to engage students in the wonders of science and help them develop the knowledge, skills, and curiosity needed to succeed.

Whether you are an experienced Science Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can deliver engaging lessons and inspire students to achieve their full potential.

The Role:

  • Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach a specialist discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) and Key Stage 5 where available.

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities.

  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing effective feedback to drive achievement.

  • Promote practical learning and scientific enquiry through engaging classroom and laboratory activities.

  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement, and academic achievement.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student success.

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
