Are you an experienced School Business Manager looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued education partners in Northampton for an experienced and dedicated School Business Manager to join a growing specialist school.

The successful candidate must have previous experience working as a School Business Manager or in a senior school business support role. You will have a sound understanding of school finance, budgeting, HR processes, compliance, premises management, and operational leadership within an educational setting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the school's finances, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Overseeing procurement and ensuring value for money across all services.
• Leading HR administration, recruitment, contracts, and personnel processes.
• Managing health and safety, compliance, and statutory requirements.
• Overseeing premises, facilities, and operational services.
• Supporting the Headteacher with strategic planning and business operations.
• Managing and developing administrative and support staff.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and an excellent communicator, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards. You will be confident working collaboratively with senior leaders, governors, staff, and external stakeholders.
