The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them and fostering a love of the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student progress.

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student attainment and achievement.

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental activities as required.

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic performance.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school setting.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A commitment to raising standards and supporting student success.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
