The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged in learning.
• Support students with their work and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Follow school policies and procedures at all times.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson outcomes and student behaviour.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, or support capacity.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Are confident managing groups of students aged 11-16 or 11-18.
• Can remain calm, professional, and adaptable in a classroom setting.
• Hold a degree or relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential).

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
