Geography Teacher - Wellingborough

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Wellingborough that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their successful Humanities department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. The school is committed to delivering a high-quality curriculum and fostering a love of learning, providing an excellent environment for both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons that inspire and challenge students.

  • Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5.

  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the Humanities department and school community.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A degree in Geography or a related subject.

  • Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school setting.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • A passion for Geography and a commitment to delivering engaging lessons.

  • The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
