Science Teacher - Wellingborough

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Wellingborough seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their successful department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that develop scientific knowledge, practical skills, and curiosity about the world around them. Applications are welcomed from specialists in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Create an engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity and achievement.

  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing effective feedback to support attainment.

  • Deliver practical lessons safely and effectively in line with school policies.

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.

  • Contribute to the wider success of the Science department and school community.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • A degree in Science or a related subject.

  • Experience teaching Science within a secondary school setting.

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • A commitment to raising standards and improving outcomes for all learners.

  • A passion for Science and the ability to inspire students of varying abilities.
