Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming and inclusive school in Wellingborough who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality classroom support and contribute to a positive learning environment.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students in the classroom, both individually and in small groups.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Help students stay focused, motivated, and engaged in their learning.
Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage student participation.
Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Good organisational skills and a proactive attitude.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
