IT Teacher - Wellingborough

Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Wellingborough who are seeking a passionate and dedicated IT Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging IT and Computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their digital literacy, problem-solving skills, and understanding of modern technology.

The Role

As an IT Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality IT and Computing lessons.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Assess, monitor and report on student progress.

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Promote excellent behaviour and classroom engagement.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching IT and/or Computing at secondary level.

  • Strong classroom management skills.

  • A passion for technology and education.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
