Unqualified Teacher - Wellingborough

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a confident and enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Wellingborough area.

The Role

As an Unqualified Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning in the absence of their usual teacher.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering lessons across a range of subject areas.

  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.

  • Supporting students to complete set work and achieve lesson objectives.

  • Adapting your approach to meet the needs of different learners.

  • Providing feedback to teaching staff on student progress and engagement.

  • Upholding school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, tutoring, youth work, or similar setting.

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.

  • A confident and professional approach.

  • The ability to engage and motivate students.

  • A passion for education and supporting young people to succeed.

  • A degree is desirable but not essential.
