Learning Support Assistant - Wellingborough

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide classroom support, assist with learning activities, and help create a positive and engaging educational environment. You may support individuals, small groups, or whole-class learning, ensuring that all pupils can access the curriculum and make progress.

Key Responsibilities

Support students in the classroom to enhance their learning and engagement.
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
Encourage positive behaviour and promote student wellbeing.
Support students with varying learning needs and abilities.
Monitor and record student progress where required.
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive, patient, and flexible approach.
The ability to build effective relationships with students and staff.
A commitment to supporting students' academic and personal development.
Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or support work are desirable but not essential.
