The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group intervention support.

  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to deliver personalised learning strategies.

  • Assist with the implementation of EHCP targets and tailored support plans.

  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and student engagement.

  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children or young people with SEN, either within education, care, youth work, coaching, or support settings.

  • Be patient, resilient, and adaptable.

  • Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Have a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs.

  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
