We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kettering that is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum
Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, including children with additional learning needs (SEND)
Supporting early reading, phonics, writing, and numeracy development
Helping pupils remain focused, motivated, and engaged throughout the school day
Promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, safe, and supportive classroom environment
Assisting with targeted interventions to help pupils make progress
Encouraging confidence, independence, and a love of learning in young children
Providing guidance and support to help pupils achieve their personal and academic goals

Has experience working with children (education, nursery, childcare, care, youth work, coaching, or similar - desirable but not essential)
