Food Technology Teacher - Corby

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the Corby area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys inspiring students through practical learning and helping them develop valuable life skills alongside their academic studies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging creativity, independence, and a strong understanding of nutrition, food preparation, and safety.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons.

  • Teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4.

  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress.

  • Promote high standards of health, safety, and hygiene within the classroom.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Contribute to the wider Design and Technology department.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • A passion for practical education and student achievement.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
