Graduate Science Technician | September 2026 |

An outstanding secondary school in Ealing is seeking a motivated Science Technician to join its Science faculty from September 2026. This full-time role is available five days each week and is expected to last for one term, with a strong likelihood of extension.

This role is perfect for a Russell Group graduate who enjoys science and is looking to develop valuable experience in an educational setting.

The Position

Working as a Science Technician, you will prepare laboratories for practical lessons, organise equipment and resources, and ensure students and staff have everything required for successful experiments.

Duties

  • Set up and clear away practical experiments.

  • Maintain laboratory equipment.

  • Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies.

  • Follow laboratory health and safety procedures.

  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation.

  • Keep science workspaces clean and organised.

  • Support the wider Science department when required.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree from a Russell Group University.

  • Excellent organisational skills.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

  • Passion for science and education.
