Graduate Science Technician | September 2026 |
An outstanding secondary school in Ealing is seeking a motivated Science Technician to join its Science faculty from September 2026. This full-time role is available five days each week and is expected to last for one term, with a strong likelihood of extension.
This role is perfect for a Russell Group graduate who enjoys science and is looking to develop valuable experience in an educational setting.
The Position
Working as a Science Technician, you will prepare laboratories for practical lessons, organise equipment and resources, and ensure students and staff have everything required for successful experiments.
Duties
Set up and clear away practical experiments.
Maintain laboratory equipment.
Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies.
Follow laboratory health and safety procedures.
Assist teachers with lesson preparation.
Keep science workspaces clean and organised.
Support the wider Science department when required.
Essential Criteria
Degree from a Russell Group University.
Excellent organisational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Passion for science and education.
