Science Technician | Full-Time School Role | Hammersmith & Fulham

A thriving secondary school in Hammersmith and Fulham is offering an exciting opportunity for an organised Science Technician to join its team from September 2026. This full-time role is available Monday to Friday and will initially run for one term, with a strong possibility of extension.

This position would suit a Russell Group graduate with a passion for science and excellent practical skills.

Your Role

As a Science Technician, you will provide technical support across the Science department, ensuring practical lessons are prepared efficiently and laboratories remain safe, compliant and fully equipped.

Responsibilities

• Prepare practical resources for Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

• Clean, maintain and store laboratory equipment.

• Monitor chemical and equipment inventories.

• Ensure laboratories meet health and safety standards.

• Support teachers before and after practical lessons.

• Record stock usage and arrange replenishment.

• Assist with departmental organisation.

Candidate Profile

• Degree from a Russell Group University.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent organisational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Positive and professional attitude.
