The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Plan and prepare lessons that inspire and engage students.

  • Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs.

  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Build positive relationships with students and staff.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.

  • Strong subject knowledge within Humanities.

  • Experience teaching History, Geography, RE or related subjects.

  • A passion for education and helping students achieve their potential.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A flexible, enthusiastic, and professional approach.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
