Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 4 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Kettering area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled education professional who is passionate about supporting pupils' learning and development whilst making a positive impact within the classroom.

As a Level 4 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and senior leaders to deliver high-quality support across a range of year groups. You will play a key role in helping pupils achieve their full potential, supporting both academic progress and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.

  • Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.

  • Assist in monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.

  • Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN.

  • Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.

  • Provide classroom cover when required and support the wider school team.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A recognised Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

  • Previous experience working within a school setting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable.

  • A proactive, flexible and positive approach to education.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
