Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Kettering

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Kettering. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive difference to the lives of young people.

The Role

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required

• Assisting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities

• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills

• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines

• Providing additional support to pupils who may have SEN

• Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment

• Working closely with teachers and the wider school team

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualified

• Passionate about working with children and young people

• Patient, caring and supportive

• Confident building positive relationships with pupils

• Reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable

• Able to work effectively as part of a team

• Previous experience working within a school setting is desirable
