Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to work within a secondary school in the Corby area.

We are looking for a teacher who has a genuine passion for Mathematics and can inspire students to develop their confidence, problem-solving abilities and understanding of the subject.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop their teaching experience within a supportive secondary school environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students of all abilities make progress and achieve their potential.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Teaching a broad range of mathematical topics, including algebra, geometry, statistics and number.

• Preparing students for GCSE Mathematics examinations.

• Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of students with different abilities and learning styles.

• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.

• Supporting students who may lack confidence or require additional help with Mathematics.

• Creating a positive, inclusive and productive classroom environment.

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

• Encouraging students to develop confidence in problem-solving and mathematical reasoning.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department.

• Contributing to the wider school community and supporting student achievement.

What Are We Looking For?

We would love to hear from candidates who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Have experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school environment.

• Have strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4.

• Are confident preparing students for GCSE Mathematics.

• Can plan and deliver engaging lessons that support students of different abilities.

• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Are enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to supporting student progress.

• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Are passionate about helping young people develop confidence and succeed in Mathematics.
