The Role

As the class teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum

• Creating a positive and structured classroom environment that encourages learning and positive behaviour

• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs

• Developing pupils' literacy, numeracy and wider learning skills

• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff

• Building positive and supportive relationships with pupils and parents

• Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development

• Contributing to the wider school community and maintaining high teaching standards

The Ideal Candidate

We're keen to hear from teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have experience teaching within a primary school or are an ECT looking to develop their teaching experience

• Can deliver engaging and creative lessons that capture pupils' interest

• Have effective classroom and behaviour management skills

• Are adaptable, organised and confident working as part of a school team

• Have a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to children's education

• Work well collaboratively and contribute to a supportive staff environment

• Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one
