Electrical Engineering Lecturer

Role Highlights:

  • Deliver engaging and accessible Electrical Engineering lessons to a range of learners, including Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications

  • Inspire students through practical workshops, real-world applications, and industry-relevant projects

  • Teach key areas such as electrical installation, principles of electronics, control systems, and electrical maintenance

  • Differentiate teaching to support learners of all abilities, promoting confidence and progression into higher education or employment

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, assessments, and enrichment activities aligned with current industry standards

  • Support students beyond the classroom through STEM clubs, competitions, and work placement opportunities

About You:

  • Qualified teacher or lecturer (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) with a strong background in Electrical Engineering

  • Industry experience in electrical installation, maintenance, power systems, or related fields

  • Experienced in delivering technical education within a further education or college setting (desirable but not essential)

  • Skilled in practical workshop delivery and familiar with current regulations and technologies

  • Adaptable and creative in your teaching approach, making complex electrical concepts accessible and engaging

  • Excellent communicator with strong classroom management and student engagement skills

  • A collaborative team player committed to raising learner achievement and supporting diverse cohorts
