  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement, progress, and behaviour

  • Monitor and evaluate teaching quality and curriculum delivery

  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing effectively

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements

  • Liaise with external agencies, local authorities, and stakeholders to support student needs

  • Promote a culture of high expectations, restorative practice, and continuous improvement

  • Report to senior leadership or governing bodies on performance, progress, and outcomes

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven leadership experience in education, alternative provision, or youth services

  • Strong understanding of SEMH, behaviour management, and inclusive education

  • Experience managing staff, budgets, and operational procedures

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

  • Confident in delivering high-quality education while maintaining a safe and supportive environment

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to implement policies and monitor outcomes

  • Committed to giving young people a second chance and restoring their engagement with learning

What You'll Receive:

  • A full-time, permanent Centre Manager position

  • Competitive salary reflecting experience and responsibilities

  • Autonomy to lead and shape the provision for maximum impact

  • Supportive leadership and a motivated, dedicated staff team

  • Opportunities for professional development and networking within alternative education

  • The chance to make a long-term, meaningful difference in students' lives

This is a pivotal leadership role in a setting where every day counts. You will have the opportunity to create a safe, structured, and inspiring environment for students who need guidance, support, and belief in their potential.
