Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in the Wellingborough area for a passionate and dedicated Social Sciences Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive department and inspire students across Key Stages 4 and 5.

The successful candidate will have the ability to teach one or more Social Science subjects, including Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, or Health and Social Care, and will be committed to delivering engaging lessons that encourage students to think critically about society and human behaviour.

The Role

As a Social Sciences Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students.

• Teach Social Sciences subjects across Key Stages 4 and 5.

• Monitor, assess, and track student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.

• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.

• Contribute to the wider life of the department and school community.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

• Has experience teaching Social Sciences subjects at secondary level.

• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for their specialism.

• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• Is committed to raising achievement and supporting student success.

• Works effectively as part of a collaborative team.
