Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a welcoming and inclusive school in the Wellingborough area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to pupils with a range of learning needs. You will play a key role in creating a positive learning environment, helping students to develop confidence, independence, and academic progress.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

• Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and learning activities.

• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), where required.

• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in learning.

• Helping to monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

• Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience working with children or young people in an educational, care, or support setting.

• Are patient, compassionate, and adaptable.

• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

• Can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

• Hold a relevant qualification in education, childcare, or support work (desirable but not essential).
