The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure students remain focused and on task in the absence of their regular teacher.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Supporting student progress and engagement
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
• Providing feedback to teaching staff where required
• Adapting quickly to different school settings and classrooms

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A flexible and professional approach
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
