The Role

  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 teaching available for suitable candidates

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities

  • Develop students' confidence in mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and numeracy

  • Monitor progress through effective assessment and provide meaningful feedback

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop resources and share best practice

  • Support intervention programmes and contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities where appropriate

  • Create a positive classroom environment that promotes high expectations and a love of learning

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)

  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching Mathematics across the secondary curriculum

  • A passion for helping students achieve their best

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to department success

  • Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
