About the Role

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced applicants. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire students, promote progress, and develop confidence in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.

  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the Maths department and school.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary school level.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths.

  • Excellent classroom management skills.

  • The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.

  • A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student success.
