The Role

The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils and teachers across the school by:

  • Providing classroom support to help deliver engaging and accessible lessons.

  • Working alongside teachers to support pupils' learning and development.

  • Delivering 1:1 and small group support for children who require additional help.

  • Assisting pupils with SEND, ensuring they receive appropriate encouragement and guidance.

  • Supporting classroom behaviour strategies and promoting a positive learning environment.

  • Helping children develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

  • Supporting learning activities, preparation of resources, and classroom organisation.

  • Encouraging pupils to participate fully in school life and achieve their potential.
