The Role

• Full-time Class Teacher position within a welcoming primary school in Rushden

• Salary paid in line with the Main or Upper Pay Scale, depending on experience

• Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum

• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development

• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress effectively

• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils

• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, attainment and achievement

• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community

• Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Has experience teaching within a primary school setting

• Has a strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

• Is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning

• Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Is organised, enthusiastic and committed to pupil progress

• Has effective classroom management skills

• Can motivate and engage pupils of different abilities

• Is confident in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs

• Is available to start in November 2026
