Business Teacher

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full-time (part-time considered)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a secondary school in the Corby area to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Business Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking department.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach Business across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Level 2 and Level 3 (KS5) courses for experienced candidates. Applications are welcome from ECTs and experienced teachers.

The role will involve:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality Business lessons

  • Teaching Business and related subjects across KS3 and KS4, and potentially KS5

  • Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure high achievement

  • Contributing to the development and planning of the Business curriculum

  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour, achievement, and classroom practice

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (or be working towards it)

  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business and Enterprise

  • Be able to motivate students of all abilities

  • Have high expectations for student progress, behaviour, and achievement

  • Be committed to inclusive practice and continuous professional development
