Geography Teacher

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full-time (part-time considered)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Start Date: ASAP / September

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a secondary school in the Corby area to recruit a passionate and committed Geography Teacher to join a supportive humanities department.

This is an excellent opportunity to teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching KS5 for suitably experienced candidates. Applications are welcome from ECTs and experienced teachers.

The role will involve:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality Geography lessons

  • Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4

  • Monitoring, assessing, and supporting student progress

  • Contributing to curriculum development within the department

  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour, achievement, and classroom practice

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (or be working towards it)

  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography

  • Be able to motivate and inspire students of all abilities

  • Have high expectations for student progress and achievement

  • Be committed to inclusive practice and ongoing professional development
