The Role

  • Teaching engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available in some schools)

  • Planning lessons that develop fluency, reasoning, and exam confidence

  • Differentiating effectively to support students of mixed abilities

  • Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-organised Maths department

  • Contributing to wider school life, including Maths clubs, STEM activities, or enrichment opportunities

The Ideal Candidate

  • A qualified Maths Teacher (QTS / QTLS or equivalent)

  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering the GCSE Maths curriculum

  • A passion for making Maths accessible, engaging, and enjoyable

  • A positive and committed professional with strong classroom practice

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

  • ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply, with schools offering structured induction and mentoring
