Graduate Teaching Assistant Scheme - Corby

Tradewind Recruitment is excited to offer a Graduate Teaching Assistant Scheme in the Corby area, designed for graduates who are considering a career in education and want hands-on classroom experience.

This is an ideal opportunity for graduates who are interested in becoming teachers, educational psychologists, SEN professionals, or working in pastoral or youth support roles.

About the Graduate Scheme:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff, gaining valuable classroom experience while developing key skills needed for a future career in education.

No previous school experience is required - just a genuine interest in working with children and young people.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils in lessons, both 1:1 and in small groups

  • Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN and SEMH

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment

  • Gaining experience across different year groups and subjects

The Ideal Graduate:

  • A degree in any subject (2:2 or above preferred)

  • A strong interest in education, teaching, or child development

  • A positive, proactive, and professional attitude

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
