Maths Graduate Teaching Opportunity | Northampton
Full-Time Role | February or April 2026 Start | Ideal for Aspiring Teachers

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of supportive secondary schools in Northampton, offering fantastic opportunities for Maths graduates to step into the classroom from February or April 2026.

Whether you're planning to apply for a PGCE, School Direct, or SCITT programme in the future, this full-time role provides the perfect foundation to develop practical skills, build confidence, and make a genuine impact on young people's learning.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting Maths teachers with lesson delivery across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

  • Delivering small group and 1:1 intervention sessions to raise attainment

  • Helping students develop confidence in numeracy and problem-solving skills

  • Assisting with lesson preparation, marking, and classroom organisation

  • Contributing to enrichment activities such as Maths clubs, revision sessions, or homework support

Who We're Looking For:

  • A recent Maths graduate (or related degree such as Engineering, Physics, or Economics) with a 2:2 or above

  • A confident communicator with a positive, patient, and professional approach

  • Passionate about education and motivated to work with young people

  • An aspiring teacher seeking hands-on experience prior to formal teacher training

  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting student progress
