The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will take charge of lessons in the teacher's absence, delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain engaged and focused. You will be a consistent presence in the classroom, promoting positive behaviour and supporting a productive learning environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising lessons across KS3 and KS4 using prepared materials

  • Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and classroom conduct

  • Encouraging students to complete work to the best of their ability

  • Providing clear feedback to teaching staff following lessons

  • Supporting the wider school community when required

About You

  • Have experience working with young people in any capacity

  • Can confidently manage a classroom environment

  • Are calm under pressure and adaptable to new situations

  • Communicate clearly and professionally
