Spanish Graduate Teacher - April or May 2026 Start
Location: Northamptonshire | Full-Time | Long-Term to Permanent Opportunity

Are you a recent Spanish graduate with a passion for language, culture, and inspiring young people?
Are you considering a career in teaching and looking for a school-based route into the profession?

We are working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Northamptonshire that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Spanish Graduate Teacher from April or May 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while working alongside qualified teachers, with the potential to progress into teacher training.

About the Role:

  • Delivering Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential exposure to Key Stage 5)
  • Leading small group interventions to develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
  • Planning engaging and interactive language lessons with support from the MFL department
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to support development
  • Promoting cultural awareness and enthusiasm for languages within the classroom
  • Working closely with the MFL department and pastoral teams to support student learning

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Spanish or a related subject
  • A genuine interest in a career in teaching or education
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with young people
  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced staff
  • Organised, reliable, and committed to supporting student progress

Desirable:

  • Experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work)
  • An interest in progressing to teacher training (e.g. PGCE, School Direct, or apprenticeship routes)
