RE Teacher - Northampton
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire

We are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Northampton that is seeking an enthusiastic RE Teacher to join their team from June 2026 or September 2026. This is a full-time role available on either a contract or permanent basis, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the classroom while continuing to develop your teaching career.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available in some settings
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote curiosity, reflection, and critical thinking
  • Supporting students of all abilities to access and engage with complex and thought-provoking topics
  • Collaborating with the RE/Humanities department to develop schemes of work and learning resources
  • Encouraging respectful dialogue and helping students explore a wide range of beliefs and perspectives

Who We're Looking For:

  • Qualified RE teachers with QTS/QTLS or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering engaging RE lessons
  • Positive classroom practitioners with effective behaviour management skills
  • Reflective, adaptable, and committed team players
  • Both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply, with full induction and mentoring support available
