About the Role
- Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential involvement at KS5
- Support the Learning Director in driving progress and attainment across the department
- Take on specific leadership responsibilities aligned to your strengths and development
- Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment strategies, and departmental improvement
- Promote a culture of high expectations, creativity, and student engagement
- Support and collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and raise standards
About You
- Holds QTS/QTLS (or equivalent)
- An experienced English teacher with strong subject knowledge
- Ambitious and motivated to take on leadership responsibilities
- Committed to raising attainment and delivering an inclusive curriculum
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about developing students' confidence, creativity, and love of English
