A welcoming secondary school in Kettering is seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and energetic individual to join their PE department as an Unqualified PE Teacher, with a start date available in May or September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a sports coach, graduate, teaching assistant, youth worker, or anyone passionate about sport who is looking to gain hands-on school experience and develop a career in education.
You will be supported by an experienced PE team while building your skills in both practical and classroom-based settings, helping to inspire and engage students through sport and physical activity.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Delivering pre-planned PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Leading engaging practical sports sessions
- Supporting positive behaviour and student engagement
- Encouraging confidence, teamwork, and physical development
- Assisting with extra-curricular sport, fixtures, and school events
We're Looking For:
- Experience working with young people (coaching, mentoring, tutoring, youth work, etc.)
- Confident communicators who can engage and motivate groups
- Motivated and driven individual with a genuine passion for PE and sport
- Someone considering teacher training routes (PGCE / SCITT)
- Reliable and committed team player
