This role involves working closely with pupils across the school, providing additional support to help them access learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils in class, both 1:1 and in small groups

  • Assist the teacher with delivering engaging and accessible lessons

  • Help pupils stay focused, motivated, and involved in learning

  • Provide additional support for children with varying needs

  • Promote positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment

  • Help prepare classroom resources and activities

  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

About You

  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar)

  • Patient, caring, and supportive approach

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Reliable, proactive, and adaptable

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team

  • Passionate about education and helping children succeed
