Contract: Full-Time | Permanent Preferred | Long-Term Supply or Fixed-Term Contract Considered
Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Kettering that is seeking to appoint committed Teaching Assistants to join their team from September 2026. The school is ideally looking to appoint on a permanent basis; however, long-term supply and fixed-term contract arrangements will also be considered for the right candidate.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to gain valuable experience supporting children in a nurturing primary school environment.
The Role
Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum
Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups, including those with additional learning needs (SEND)
Supporting early reading, writing, phonics, and numeracy development
Helping pupils stay focused, engaged, and motivated throughout the school day
Promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, safe, and supportive classroom environment
Assisting with targeted interventions to help pupils make progress
Encouraging confidence, independence, and a love of learning in young children

Has experience working with children (education, nursery, care, youth work, coaching, or similar-desirable but not essential)
