We are working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Milton Keynes that is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work closely with class teachers and the wider school team to provide high-quality support across the primary curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum
Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence
Support children with SEND and additional learning needs through tailored interventions
Assist with phonics, early reading, writing, numeracy, and classroom activities
Help promote positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom organisation
Encourage pupils' independence, confidence, and enthusiasm for learning
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and carers to support children's progress
Who We're Looking For
Hold a Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
Have experience working with primary-aged children in a school or similar educational setting
Be caring, patient, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children's development
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be adaptable, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Be confident supporting children with a range of learning needs and abilities
Have a good understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management practices
