About the Role

As an Unqualified Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour, and support students in achieving their learning objectives. The school offers excellent support and is keen to help aspiring teachers develop their classroom skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons to secondary school students.

  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.

  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies.

  • Support students' learning and encourage participation.

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and engagement.

  • Promote high expectations of behaviour and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or similar environment.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Confidence leading groups of students.

  • A positive, resilient, and adaptable approach.

  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.

  • A degree is desirable but not essential.
