Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming primary school in Wellingborough that is seeking a confident and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher to join their team for an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who enjoys working across different year groups and can confidently step into the classroom to deliver engaging lessons while class teachers have their planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

• Provide consistent classroom cover during teachers' allocated PPA time

• Maintain a positive, safe and engaging learning environment

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Adapt your approach to suit different year groups and pupils' learning needs

• Ensure pupils remain engaged and make progress with their learning

• Work collaboratively with class teachers and other school staff

• Provide feedback on pupil engagement, behaviour and lesson outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS, although this is desirable rather than essential

• Has previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting

• Is confident leading lessons and managing a class independently

• Can adapt quickly to different classrooms and year groups

• Has strong communication and behaviour management skills

• Is reliable, organised and flexible

• Builds positive relationships with pupils and colleagues

• Is committed to supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
