Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities in line with the EYFS Framework.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration and independence.
• Observe, assess and monitor children's development to support their individual progress.
• Adapt activities and learning experiences to meet the varying needs and abilities of all pupils.
• Promote children's social, emotional, communication and language development.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
• Establish positive routines and expectations to support children's learning and development.
• Contribute to the wider Early Years provision and school community.

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Early Years is desirable.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
• Excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management skills.
• A nurturing and patient approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with young children.
• A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Committed to supporting every child to achieve their full potential.
