Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire | Full-Time | October 2026 or January 2027 Start | Permanent

The school is looking to appoint an inspiring teacher who can deliver engaging and challenging lessons, build positive relationships with pupils, and contribute to the wider life of the school. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an outstanding ECT looking to develop their career within a supportive and aspirational independent school environment.

Role Highlights:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons that inspire curiosity and a genuine love of learning

  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel confident and supported

  • Teach across the Prep School curriculum, adapting lessons to meet the needs and abilities of individual pupils

  • Build strong and positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

  • Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and personal development

  • Differentiate learning effectively to ensure all pupils are appropriately challenged and supported

  • Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support continued development

  • Promote high standards of behaviour, presentation, effort, and achievement

  • Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, enrichment activities, trips, performances, and school events

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain consistently high standards of teaching and learning

  • Support the school's values, ethos, and commitment to providing an exceptional education for every pupil

About You:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching within a primary or prep school setting

  • Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and child development

  • Be passionate about delivering an engaging, ambitious, and well-rounded education

  • Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills

  • Be able to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils of different abilities

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be reflective, enthusiastic, and committed to continuous professional development

  • Have high expectations of yourself and your pupils

  • Be committed to creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

  • Be willing to contribute fully to the wider life of the school

  • Share a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
